girl monster

For Halloween I painted myself up as a Meadham Kirchhoff-inspired monster, ziggy eyebrows and all!
(I promise I was really way more excited about this than I look here! haha.)
My main ~facespirations~ (I am aware of how stupid that sounds, but it's late and I don't care.)
I basically pulled elements from a bunch of the different runway looks and put them together as one for my costume. I've been super obsessed with the makeup from this show for ages, but it only occurred to me at the very last minute that it'd be a stellar look to wear for Halloween, so my version of it ended up being a bit of a rush job. I don't think I butchered it too badly, though!
For the rest of my costume I wore my rainbow Meadham Kirchhoff monster patch dress over a sheer dot top I got from Oasap, and some holographic tinsel earrings that I made myself. The earrings don't look quite as good as the MK ones, but they worked out alright I think.

Did any of you guys dress up for Halloween? Let me know-I'd love to hear all about your costumes! ^.^

    1. Ah, looks like we had the same idea! I was originally going to go as a pumpkin, too! I just didn't get to making my costume in time so I had to let the idea go. -.- I suppose there's always next year...

  14. This is so amazing!!! I loved this whole show. I am on the costume crew for drama at school and we are doing A midsummer night's dream but 80's style, and I had the idea to make the faries look like the girls from this show! I am sooo excited to paint everyone's face.

  15. This is really cool. I especially like the eyebrows and the eye makeup. I've always wanted to be the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz, but I never know how to do the makeup.

I didn't dress up this year. I can't really top the costume I had a few years ago:

It's the easiest thing to be a string puppet. Be anything, add strings.
