♡ pastel puke ♡

After witnessing the utter genius that made up Meadham Kirchhoff's S/S 2012 runway show last fall fashion week, I felt instantly inspired. Not in an 'oh, pretty clothes!' way, but more like 'OHMYGODYOUPEOPLEKNOWMESOWELLTHISCOLLECTIONWASMADEFORMEILOVEYOOOOU' kinda way. All caps necessary. Rather than taking to my blog and typing up a rambly post on how amazing it all was, punctuating my sentences with it's so cute! it's so perfect! I DIE!! (like I so often do with my runway recaps), I decided to try doing something a little more creative to show my appreciation for the collection: I made a zine.
It's titled Pastel Puke and it features 12 full pages of black 'n white doodles (that you can color in!) highlighting all of my favorite looks/motifs/and themes from the collection. Technically, this isn't my first zine, just the first one I've ever published (aka taken down to the library to get xeroxed. I'm so lazy, I know!) At first I thought it was probably a bad idea for me to want to try making an illustration-based zine, seeing as drawing definitely isn't one of my strong suits...but the drawings didn't turn out to be as horrible as I had imagined they would! And I had a lot of fun making them. That's all that really counts, right? Here's a little preview of what's inside the zine:
P.S PASTEL PUKE will be available for purchase in my new webshop real soon, so keep an eye out for that! ^.^
