where are you spring!?

312011
I'm only capable of making stupid faces while wearing these glasses.
Howdy guys~
This is obviously not one of those what-I-wore-today posts, because the temperatures out are still hypothermia inducing. I want spring, dammit! Winter needs to GTFO.
I was just in the middle of doing some clothing recons (these shorts + top being the items that needed fixing up) when I decided to take some pictures for fun..
with my legs conveniently chopped off because I wasn't wearing shoes and I'm sure nobody wants to see my ugly feet.
This frilly sleeve crop top is a design that I'm thinking of selling. I'm not too sure when or if I'll ever open up a blog shop though. I can't imagine anyone wanting to buy anything from me!

So I just thought I'd ask you guys what you thought. W
ould you be interested in buying some of the crazy shit I come up with? And if so, what would you really be interested in me selling? Is there a certain project I featured on this blog that you would love to see in this hypothetical shop? Yes No Maybe? GAAAH OK I need to shut up now. I can't wait to hear your feedback! :)

  1. Waiting on spring! (actually I'm waiting on summer. I just want school to end)

I've been kind of wanting to do a sales shop kinda thing too, but I dunno if I have enough watchers for that. It'd be interesting, though, if you opened on up! :)

I'm totally into the stuff you sew! Any things that you made or old thrifted clothes that you don't want anymore would be cool. I can't sew a straight line or unjam my sewing machine to save my life.

  2. i would love to see what you had, I find all your clothing fun and interesting.

Love the top! When I first saw it, I immediately thought of all the boxy band shirts I have that I would love to do that to!!! I wish I had sewing skills, I'd be making mad shit too :D

  3. I feel like I'm not specific enough; I really love Marlena-dresses! Oh also, I ordered wrong and got an extra issue of a 2008 KERA. I thought about giving it to some friends, but I dont think any of them are particularly interested. And then you came to mind. Would you like it? I'd be happy to send you my extra copy :D

  7. Hi, I came across your blog today (by finding that fantastic miu miu inspired collar that you have made, on google) and I have to say that I already adore your blog. And you're so inspiring and I wish that I was as talented. I've tried so hard sewing my own clothes but my success rate isn't very high, but your dresses and skrits (and collar!!!!) are amazing. Anyway, just wanted to tell you that you have one very excited follower in Sweden and I'm waiting for your next post. Keep up the good work!

(and a quick question, here in Sweden it's so EXPENSIVE with fabric, is it the same where you live? It's almost cheaper to buy a dress here than to sew one.. Well..)

  8. (AND now I read the full post, and YES I would love to buy stuff from you. Not sure if I would be able to though, the shipping costes would probably be more than I can pay, hehe.)

  9. I would def buy your stuff, even if I had to save up because of shipping rates. You're so talented <3

Ah I would love to have the figure to wear high-waisted shorts. Stupid big hips, can't ever find a pair that looks decent -_-

(also, this is the best photo ever)

  11. If I had any sufficient money, I'd def be interested in what merchandise you'd be selling. :D I also truly love your slightly demented/slightly girly/slightly punk/slightly badass look you've got going there. Nice.

Seriously, I fell in love with that one dress that had the open heart in the back. & the miu miu collar. & the frilly shirt. & the jean vest with the converse at the back. Basically, everything.

You Should Totally Make The Shop; I better start saving :)

  21. I absolutely love your blog. I go to it every time I'm online. You are really fearless in what you wear, I really admire that. I'm also inspired by it. I'm starting my own blog soon and I'll be sure to mention you on it, I think everyone should read your blog. But anyways... I would love to buy t-shirts that you make. I really loved that Hole t-shirt you made. I'm obsessed with Hole (Courtney Love is a genius...have you ever read her diaries? They're epic). I also really love that bib necklace you made. I love handmade jewelry...I have a fast growing collection...I'll shut up about it now. It would be really cool too, if you made a shop on Etsy.com. I'm pretty addicted to that site(my friends are too)and it's like the perfect place to sell handmade things. It would be really awesome if you sold thrifted/vintage stuff too(you have a super awesome collection of thrifted things). On Etsy you can totally do that. So in conclusion, I would totally buy whatever you sold in your shop :). And sorry for how long my post is...I go off on tangents. And again, I really genuinely love your blog. The End.
